Ingredients


Gram Horse / Kollu / Kanam: This small legume is the heart of our Thogayal recipe. There are two types of horses available on the market – black and brown horsegram. You can use your various choices. Dry the kollu to increase digestion and eliminate raw odors.
Coconut: Coconut adds a rich and soft texture to Thogayal. For milk -free thogayal, you can replace with almonds or cashews. You can even use dried or frozen coconut, not fresh coconut. The texture and taste may be different.
GARLIC : Garlic adds to the aroma of depth and flavorful to Thogayal. You can even saute the garlic in the pan before grinding. If you want to increase digestion, you can even add a piece of ginger when grinding.
Dry red chili: Dry red chili is added to kick spiceiness in Thogayal. You can adjust the number of red chili according to your spice level. You can also replace it with green chili or add Kashmir red chili that is less spicy and adds bright colors to Thogayal.
SALT : Salt is added to balance the taste and taste as a whole. Water: Water can be in accordance with the consistency of the thogayal that you like.
