About Aval Payasam
Poha Payasam also recognizes Aval Payasam or Phaha Kheer is a simple Kheer recipe made with Poha, Jaggery, Santan. For my twist, adding cooked bananas and coconut that add texture, aroma, and taste.
You can miss this banana for this kheer, but I like the texture to give a kheer.

Here are some of my tips and tricks to get a deeper pradhaman or payasam. Every time you use Jaggery on Payasam, make sure you take the time to cook it well. Not only deepening the taste, but adding caramel like a note.
So once I added Jaggery to Kheer, I cooked it together for 4 to 5 minutes. In this Payasam, I added some cooked bananas because my mother used to add it.
Ingredients

From – I use poha brown rice or aval for this recipe. You can use white rice.
Coconut – The newly shredded coconut adds to the texture and taste to the payasam.
Coconut cream – Thick or thin coconut milk, used as payasam or pradhaman. It adds to the taste and taste.
Cardamom – I use this as a flavoring. You can add a pinch of ginger to this payasam.

Ghee – Add good quality Ghee for Payasam.
Crazy – I use chopped beyonds, cashews, kishmish adding taste.
