About Capsicum Dates
Dates are rich and seasoned sauce dishes and are one of the main recipes in Indian households, it has different variations throughout India. Northern Indian dates often use cream, yogurt, or beans for basic sauce. Whereas in southern India dates are usually prepared with coconut, cashews, beans or opium with several spices. Generally I prepare dates with lots of vegetables at least once a week. South Indian dates are good companions for Chapathi, Parotta, Idiyappam, Idli and Dosai.
Capsicum is one of my favorite vegetables, I usually use it to wrap the recipe, fill the sandwich or put it with a base plate. I like to experiment with various types of dates, so I just think of making dates recipes this week with Capsicum. Vegetables in dates are completely cooked and will be soft. But I want my capsicum to maintain its crispness and don’t want to get wet. So I prepare a peanut -based sauce that is light -spicked and stir -fried capsicum separately in butter/ oil for 2 minutes to maintain the color and crispy. Then finally mix the fried capsicum with the sauce. This is a good accompaniment for bread, naan, alsov, dosai and idli.
Capsicum dates are somewhat seasoned, aromatic and have a beautiful cream -colored peanut base. The taste is very light, with less oil makes it perfect for any Indian bread. This dates are so flexible so you can try adding all the vegetables, tofu, paneer or meat of your choice.
