There are many universal truths in Star Wars. One can always have a bad feeling about a situation, the Force will always be with you, and hey, if a character dies, don’t worry — there’s always a chance they’ll come back in some shape or form. Sometimes it seems like the entire Mandalorian era of Star Wars exists solely to explain why Emperor Palpatine is in the sequels. And if not Palpatine, consider characters like Asajj Ventress and Fennec Shand. Even Kylo Ren (aka Ben Solo) was already planning his return before Disney rejected it.
However, the master of cheating death is none other than Darth Maul himself. Despite being cut in half and thrown down the reactor shaft after dueling Obi-Wan Kenobi inside it Ghost ThreatMaul returns a decade later (with a new set of spider legs for good measure). He survives by harnessing the power of the Dark Side, but as we deduce: Maul is too hateful to die.
Over the years, Maul has faced many challenges, but they still happen Star Wars: Rebels episode ‘Twin Suns,’ Maul finally met his end at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi — this time for real. Since his final death is known, we know that Star Wars: Maul – The Shadow King series, set earlier in its timeline, will leave Maul (fairly) unscathed.
But we also know that Maul is a very popular character. Maul: Shadow Lord already has a confirmed second season, and the character has had several spin-off comics over the years. Could we get the answer, “Somehow, Darth Maul is back” in the future?
“You never know,” Lord Shadow executive producer Brad Rau told Polygon. “Right now we are just focused on this one time period.”
Maul’s voice actor, Sam Witwer, on the other hand, has his own ideas about what the rise of a Sith lord would look like.
“Clone him. Make an army of him. Just do it. Let’s get it done,” Witwer joked. “I can’t imagine it. I had no idea that Maul would have a show named after him. I never even considered it. If there’s a possibility, it’s Dave Filoni’s purview.”
Anything is possible when you’re in a galaxy as strange and wonderful as Star Wars. But for now, Lucasfilm’s focus is Maul’s journey to rebuild his criminal empire Maul: Shadow Lord.
The first two episodes of Star Wars: Maul – The Shadow King available now on Disney Plus. New episodes will be released weekly on Mondays through May 4.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
