About Quesadilla
Quesadilla is an original Mexican recipe made with tortillas, filled with vegetables or meat and cheese. Traditionally Quesadillas Mexico is made with corn flour tortillas. Tortillas are filled with cheese and cooked on a pan or in laughter. For this recipe, I have used homemade wheat flour tortillas. Even if you don’t have tortillas, this recipe can be easily made using bread and paratha.
To make a vegetable quesadilla, first saute vegetables such as onions, carrots, capsicum and seasoned with chili and oregano flakes. Then take whole wheat tortillas or corn tortillas, spread some guacamole on one side of the tortilla, fill it with vegetables that have been prepared and add some generous cheese. Fold with half of the other tortillas, cook this in the sin of laughter with oil or butter. It must be cooked until the outer layer of tortilla turns crispy cheese and melts in it.
Quesadilla is very suitable for busy days. I have made this vegetable quesadilla with carrots, capsicum and some guacamole spread. Quesadilla is an adaptable recipe that you can adjust to the choice of vegetables or filling meat. Why do I like this recipe
I tried Quesadilla for the first time at the airport, while my husband and I were waiting for a connecting flight. Time about 11 hours at night, I am hungry and there is only limited food available. My husband is a person who insists that I should try Quesadilla, because it will be very light and fill.
So, I ordered and surprised me, I was immediately captivated to the taste and texture of Quesadilla. It was very crispy outside and warm liquid cheese filled inside. After that, I began to make Quesadilla at home with available materials and now has become my family’s favorite.
Ingredients

Wheat tortilla: I have made this recipe using my wheat tortilla wheat. Tortilla has the same texture as bread. This will be very soft and easily folded with stuffing. But you can also make Quesadillas using corn tortillas, multi -grain or tortilla millet.
Oil: Oil is used to saute vegetables and is also added to throw tortillas. That makes the outer layer crispy. You can use oils such as canola oil, vegetable oil or olive oil.
Garlic : The finely chopped garlic adds a warm aroma and spicy taste to the filling.
Vegetables: I have used a combination of onions, carrots, and capsicum for charging. All of this is thinly sliced ββto add crispy texture.
Spice: For seasonings, chili and oregano flakes are used. This gives a sense of Mexico and spice an authentic spice for recipes.
Cornflour or Cornstarch: Corn flour is added to thicken and bind to filling together.
Tomato tomatoes: Soy sauce tomatoes give a slightly sweet and sharp taste.
Salt : Salt is used to balance and increase the overall taste.
Guacamole: Guacamole is a spread or sauce made from mashed avocados, onions, chili, garlic and lemon juice. This is a star ingredient in the Mexican recipe.
Cheese slices: You can use any cheese like mozzarella, cheddar cheese. It can be in any form such as a cube, grated or slices. Cheese helps unite the filling and tortillas.
