The cool, orange, and lightweight Earl Gray, honey is an earl gray drink is an easy drink to enjoy on bright summer days. This combines black orange -infused tea with brightness of fresh lemon juice, with the right amount of sweet taste that is soothing and refreshing.

When the weather warms up, I always keep an ice tea pitcher in the fridge. This summer, I changed it with this Earl Gray pitcher – which has been a popular drink here since 2017.

Mocktail warm weather is more popular than before, and I have added a lot to my recipe list. Have you tried my mango mango mocktail? This one must also be tried! Fresh lemonade remains one of the most popular drinks – especially with modern bends like this, and my ginger lemonade.
Similar to Arnold Palmer ice tea
Are you accustomed to Arnold Palmer ice tea (black tea and ordinary lemonade)? I put a touch of England in this classic American drink using Earl Gray tea.
What is Earl Gray tea?
Earl Gray Tea has been around since the 1830s, and I want it first every time I return to England. Earl Gray has a taste of flowers and orange, making it a suitable partner for lemonade tarts.
Serving Earl Gray Lemonade
Just pour on the ice cubes in a high glass. For an extra summer touch, decorate with lemon and orange slices and mint leaves.
Honey vs sugar
Honey is better than sugar for iced tea because it dissolves easier in cold liquids, adds to the sweet taste of natural flowers, and carries extra taste. Stir as much or as little as you like.
If you don’t like honey, simple syrup is a good alternative sweetener for cold drinks because it dissolves easily – unlike granulation sugar, where sugar dissolves slowly in cold liquid.
How to make an earl gray lemonade and tips for the best tea
This is the way you can make the perfect Earl Gray Lurgotes at home – more tips for keeping your iced tea perfect.
- Use fresh and high-quality tea-choose loose leaf tea or good quality tea bags. Fresh tea gives a brighter and more excited taste.
- Use a jug or heat -resistant teapot to brew tea. Most of the pitcher can’t stand the heat.
- Use about the ratio of water to the right tea – 1 cup (236 ml) water per bag (4 cups/1 liter of hot water for this recipe). This number gives you good and balanced strength. If you want a stronger drink (especially for iced tea), you can use water that is slightly less – about 6 ounces per tea bag.
- Don’t let the tea too long tea for about 2-4 minutes to avoid bitterness. Oversteeping can make the tea feel hard.
- Expressing when warm – add honey or simple syrup when the tea is still warm so it dissolves completely. Avoid granulation sugar – it takes longer to dissolve in cold drinks.
- Use fresh lemon juice – newly squeezed lemon juice adds a bright and best tart. The work purchased at the store is in an emergency but can feel artificial.
- Cold before serving – Let your tea cool in the refrigerator before mixed with lemonade and ice. This prevents your drink from watering too fast.
- Serve on ice – ice makes your drink refreshing and cold but don’t add so much so that it melts the taste.
- Add Twist – Try adding fresh herbs like mint or an orange piece for a pleasant taste encouragement.

Limun thorny
This lemon is very suitable for long summer days and can easily switch to night. Just add splashes of vodka, gin, or tequila if you want to soar it – fully optional, but always fun.
