Adult Swim My Adventures with Superman is one of the best superhero shows on TV, putting a new spin on its characters by combining its story with anime tropes. Showrunners Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher got very creative in reimagining Superman’s rogue’s gallery, and they teased the release of season 3 this summer with a first look at one of the Man of Steel’s most vicious foes.
Hank Henshaw (Max Mittelman) was introduced in season 2 as a STAR Labs pilot who thought Superman was an alien threat. His beliefs were pretty much confirmed in the season finale, when Brainiac (Michael Emerson) brainwashed Superman and attacked Earth. Hank tries to fight back, but is shot down by the Kryptonian AI space station.
As indicated by the L on Cyborg Superman’s suit, Hank was allegedly fatally injured in the attack and revived as a cyborg by his ally Lex Luthor (also voiced by Mittelman). In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wyatt and Clogher confirmed they are adapting Superhuman Reignthe 1993 comic arc in which Cyborg Superman originates. That storyline follows Death of Superman and featured several new versions of Superman that tried to fill the void. These alternate versions include John Irons, aka Steel, who is also introduced My Adventures with Superman season 2, and Superboy, who will be added to the mix in season 3.
Cyborg Superman is Superhuman ReignThe main villain, teams up with the alien warlord Mongul in a scheme to destroy Metropolis and turn the city into a giant machine. A resurrected Superman stops him, but not before the villains destroy Green Lantern Hal Jordan’s hometown. The tragedy makes Hal take evil actions Turning point arc, where he tries to manipulate time to recover what he has lost.
My Adventures with Superman might make something similar, considering the show’s creators are also working on a spinoff, My Adventures with Green Lantern. The show follows Jessica Cruz, who will make a cameo My Adventures with Superman season 3. Clogher also seemed to give a leak that his new series would be inspired by Moon Sailorwhich was broadcast together Dragon Ball Z during Cartoon Network’s Toonami block in 1998.
“Our take on Superman was clearly inspired by Dragon Ball Zamong others; there is a lot of anime influence. Lantern inspired by a very different part of the same Toonami block. It will be very clear once we start delivering promos, which parts of the Toonami block inspired our Green Lantern show. We’re not sneaky, guys.”
Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman premieres on Adult Swim on June 13.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
